Horror Movie Marathon 2017 is done and gone. After a day or two to recoup after a long month of movies and binge watching Stranger Things season 2; I got a chance to write an entry.
What a good year for a wide range of movies from the ages of horror, and a good deal of modern films as well. We have a good amount of monsters, slashers and some supernatural. The amount of modern films is actually quite surprising. Most of the time horror movie freaks tend to clamor for the 80’s and early 90’s horror but there are indeed good modern horror films being made. Although they don’t constitute for an “age-like” group.
THE HORROR MOVIE MARATHON 2017 FAMILY
Anyways, I truly hope people enjoyed the posts. I know there will always be those people that are wondering why certain movies aren’t included. But there’s always the following years and since there are so many big names like Evil Dead or Re-Animator; it would be stupid to just jump into the usual suspects for a horror movie check-list. These movies aren’t really reviews. More along the lines of favorites that I think should be watched. I’m not a writer nor am I a critic. Everything is from an avid fan that thinks “he knows his stuff.” Although I did get pretty deep in a couple of the reviews, I actually think I went crazy deep in Day of The Dead. But hey, horror is meant to make people think at times. I try to bring in a variety of movies from different ages of horror. Thus encouraging people to understand and appreciate the history of such a great genre of horror.
However, with the Horror Movie Marathon 2018 far away, I am going to keep my entries going with some intriguing content. I hope everyone can stay tuned for some more stuff! Stay tuned to my Stephen King IT writings, some old Horror Radio reviews and even some favorite scene breakdowns.
